Web Development Technologies?
I recently studied HTML with a taste of CSS, Javascript, Oracle SQL, Oracle DBA and VB.net using Visual Studio at local colleges.
For the Fall semester I have some choices. One is ASP.net or VB.net for WEB. Another is Dreamweaver (online), Dreamweaver with Flash (in class), or Photoshop.
To me, ASP.net is similar to VB.net for Web. Which is better?
I would like to develop or customize ecommerce websites, primarily to launch my web ideas.
I have access to Oracle’s Apex development platform as well as Google Apps which mostly uses Python.
Unfortunately, I can’t find classes in Apex or Python.
Suggestions?

Do you think Apex or maybe Google Apps can help you? if you can’t find any helpful classes in both of them then I suggest you not to use them
personally, I think PHP is as strong as ASP while ASP.NET is like the continuation of ASP so you might as well use ASP.NET as well
I’m also developing e-commerce application in ASP.NET (using VB.NET) and so far I think the application will be powerful enough (it’s not completed yet though)
I’m suggesting you go with ASP.NET

ASP.net would good but if you can find PHP class, that would be the best. PHP is widely used on Web Applications and e-commerce sites
