Client Quotations

Controlling the charges in my clinic is the name of the game and NuGenDVM allows fine tuning. For injectable medications I can set a minimum price per injection but also to allow incremental increases by the 1/10 ml. Thus the dog that gets 1.5 ml of injectable antibiotics gets charged for that 1/2 ml.

Ever had a receptionist forget to give a medication or instruction to a client picking up a pet? Nevermore with the multiple optional alerts and warning pop-ups in NuGenDVM. Invoice alerts tell the receptionist what medications are going home or add a special note to have the client talk to you. Just for fun try NuGenDVM's built in dosing calculator with popup frames for extra information on each drug or one more click and check out the Emergency calculator and get the correct rate for IV fluid loading.

I'm a visual learner and NuGenDVM is there for me. Appointments can be modified any color I like, any scheme you can dream up is possible. NuGenDVM will also automatically color arrivals, no shows and confirmations. The same idea is carried over to the Boarding Scheduler where the ability to resize columns lets you see all your kennels at a glance by day, week or month. I enjoy NuGenDVM's tight organization to keep everything I need a click away and with the auto fill feature on the client screen finding the file I was just in this morning is easy. Communicating is easier than ever with NuGenDVM. I can fax medical records to our other clinic directly from my computer, or even login to their server directly, as if I was there. I can keep my messages in their own window and call my clients back without having to resort to constantly moving from screen to screen or printing the messages several times a day.

Sorting through clients and their patients is a breeze. I have some rescue groups with large numbers of pets which I can instantly sort by name, breed, color or best of all, last visit date. I find that frequently I am looking for the pet I saw last week and can put its name on the top of the list. Amazingly, you can switch the client list to grid view then, sort by first name, last name, phone number, address; you can rearrange the categories to your heart's delight. Finally, filter the list down to Clients with the same first name or same City or both! If this isn't enough then go to the "searches" area and filter to your heart's content. Go looking for that 10 lb Mastiff puppy that belongs to someone on Main Street and no delays, there it is. Right click and go to the client! This works great for the client that calls and only leaves the message to call Margaret about Buffy at 703-555-5555, her friend's home phone so you can't search on that but you can pull all the Buffy's belonging to Margaret's and be ready to go to her file in a second.
